How can I change my daily transaction limits?
You can decrease your daily transaction limits via Internet Banking. For security reasons, any limit increase requests (subject to the maximums allowed) need to be submitted to an HSBC branch in Hong Kong. For full details go to 'My Details' and select the 'View and Set Transaction Limits' option.

Please also note that the following limits will automatically reset to zero subject to respective inactive periods. To reactivate your suspended transfer or payment limits, please contact any HSBC branch.

    Limits Channel Inactive Period
Payment limits for securities brokers, sports and leisure ATM, Internet Banking and Phonebanking 6 months (customers have not used the limits since establishment or after maintenance) OR

If I have changed my local ATM non-registered accounts daily transfer sub-limit via local ATMs and Personal Internet Banking within the same day, what will be my limit?
Under this scenario, your change request submitted at local ATM will supersede your change request submitted via Personal Internet Banking, regardless of the request submission time of the day. For change requests submitted via local ATMs before 8:30pm from Monday to Friday, or before 5:30pm on Saturday (excluding public holidays), new limit will be effective on the next working day. Change requests submitted beyond the above processing hours will be effective within 2 working days.
