Welcome to our step-by-step banking guide. It is designed to lead you through the online rewards redemption process via our HSBC Internet banking services.

  1. You can modify the amount of RewardCash to be used, subject to $10 RewardCash for each gift item, and settle the balance (if any) with your HSBC credit card.
  2. Please select the credit card account(s) from which you wish to deduct the RewardCash and enter the RewardCash to be deducted in the redemption instruction.
  3. If you have selected the redemption item which requires payment by credit card, please select the card account you want to debit the total amount required.
  4. If you have chosen items with free delivery service, please enter the delivery details including name, daytime contact telephone number and delivery address.
  5. Click the 'GO' button to submit the redemption request.

How long will it take to process my redemption request?
You will normally receive your redemption letter between four and six weeks after submitting your redemption request.

Can I redeem RewardCash belonged to any card under my name?
Yes, you can redeem RewardCash from any card accounts belonged to you except iCAN card.

Can I redeem RewardCash belonged to my additional card?
Yes, you can redeem RewardCash from your combine additional card account.

The RewardCash of my card account is not available for redemption. Why?
You have to select the 'Maintain my Details' under 'My HSBC' and register your card account in our Internet Banking Service. Your card account will be shown on the account selection list for redemption.

Can I redeem RewardCash for Mileage Programme Fee or Mileage Transfer?
Yes, you can redeem RewardCash for Mileage Programme Fee or Mileage Transfer if you have already enrolled in the Mileage Programme.

How long does it take to update my mileage account with the miles redeemed?
It takes about four to six weeks for the mileage programme partner to update your mileage account records.

I am currently paying half annual fee for my card. Can I use my RewardCash to waive the remaining half of the annual fee?
Our RewardCash Programme only accepts redemption of full annual fee waiver and it does not provide partial redemption of annual fee waiver. My annual card fee / Mileage programme fee is due, can I use my RewardCash to redeem the annual fee waiver now?
Your redemption request for annual card fee / Mileage programme annual fee waiver, must be executed one month before the due date of your annual fee/Mileage Programme annual fee, annual card fee already billed or paid will not be reversed or refunded.

When will the RewardCash and/or cash amount be debited from my credit card account after I have sent in my redemption form?
Your redemption request will be processed instantly upon submission. The RewardCash and/or cash amount required will be debited from your credit card account as soon as the redemption process has been completed. We will also send you an acknowledgment showing the transaction details for your record.

When will I receive the gifts with free delivery?
Our supplier will contact the recipient to arrange for gift delivery within two to three weeks upon acceptance of your redemption order.
